Best enjoyed when it is young, our Grenache Ros&#233; wine is a vibrant rose color with exceptional clarity. Aromas and flavors of crisp strawberry, raspberry and delicate spice shine through while soft and subtle tannins contribute to its structure.<br /><br /><b><i>Vintage Notes</i></b><br /><br />The fruit for this wine comes from our vineyards in Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley. A cool, mild season without the traditional heat spikes provided some beautiful fruit and produced one of the more bountiful grape crops in the county&#8217;s history.<br /><br /><b><i>Winemakers Notes</i></b><br /><br />The grapes for this wine were harvested in the early morning hours, gently de-stemmed at the winery and then moved directly into stainless steel tanks. Cold soaked for only a short time to capture the beautiful, vibrant rose color, the grapes were pressed and then yeast was added for cold fermentation for two weeks.
