The 1999 Trésor takes its rightful place in Ferrari-Carano’s limited edition collector’s series. Exceptionally intense and concentrated, the 1999 Trésor features ripe, fruit-driven flavors, soft tannins and good balance between oak and fruit. All the fruit comes from vines growing in shallow, rocky soil that add impressive depth and intensity to its flavors. The wine is a dark glowing garnet red, with black cherry, plum, cassis and cedar aromas. Black cherry and plum flavors dominate, mingling with warm cedar, eucalyptus and the sweet toast of French oak. The finish is long and smooth.
